FOCUS can be found at hundreds of locations in eight Western North Carolina counties. FOCUS has over 100,000 weekly readers according to the latest Media Audit Survey, and is distributed each Thursday in Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Lincoln and Iredell County.
Now in its 34th year of publication, FOCUS is filled with local community & state news, film, local & regional entertainment listings, as well as our local writers' humor, social commentary & national sports columns. We publish features on travel, history, science, health & consumer interests. One of of FOCUS' most popular sections is Completely Out Of Focus, a collection of offbeat stories and photos from all over the world. Each week FOCUS' two-page center section is Found Around Town, complimentary photographs of customers in our advertiser's restaurants, clubs & cafes.
